NHW is the major regional health service and specialist referral facility for Northeast Victoria. It serves a population of approximately 102,000, performs over 6,500 procedures a year and has over 19,000 inpatient episodes and 30,000 Emergency Department attendances a year and approximately 700 births per year. We have onsite radiology, pathology and blood bank service. NHW provides a wide range of acute specialist medical and surgical services, an emergency department, critical care unit (ICU, HDU, CCU), obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, specialised aged care, medical oncology services, community rehabilitation, inpatient, community, aged and psycho-geriatric mental health services.

We are seeking an Advanced RANZCOG Registrar to join our team in a 12-month training position designed for GP Registrars and Rural Medical Generalist trainees.
In this role, you will consolidate and enhance your clinical skills while providing high-quality patient care in a supportive learning environment. You will work closely with junior and senior medical staff, nursing, allied health, and support teams to develop collaborative professional relationships and gain valuable experience in obstetrics.
This position is accredited for Advanced RANZCOG training and provides the opportunity to complete the requirements for the Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics. Applicants must be eligible for RANZCOG Advanced Training and complete all training requirements in accordance with RANZCOG standards.
