Senior Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

OGB are pleased to offer a training position as Senior Registrar in O&G for 2027.  OGB provides private Obstetric care for over 500 women per year.  There are also approximately 1500 births per year at Grampians Health, Ballarat, and our Senior registrars will have the opportunity to contribute to this public service. OGB provides over 2500 Gynaecology procedures for our patients per year in a group practice setting, with a significant number of procedures being performed through the public system. This position provides the Trainees with the opportunity to work in an environment which provides intensive and consistent training in the areas of complex laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic Hysterectomy; complex, site specific pelvic floor surgery, and Gynaecological ultrasound encompassing assessment and diagnosis of endometriosis. An exciting 12-month fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery, offering a comprehensive and high-quality training experience in advanced surgical techniques. Fellows will work alongside Level 6 gynaecological surgeons and gain broad multidisciplinary exposure across benign gynaecology, gynae-oncology, urogynaecology, general surgery, colorectal surgery and urology. The fellowship includes a public hospital component, providing exposure to a diverse patient caseload.
