Overview: QEII is excited to offer three 12-month gynaecology advanced training positions for 2027. These roles offer advanced trainees the opportunity to work in a dynamic gynaecology-only unit that provides a broad range of generalist and subspecialist gynaecology services. Exceptional surgical exposure, both in volume and complexity of cases, is a feature of these roles. QEII Jubilee Hospital, on Brisbane’s southside, is one of five major facilities within Metro South Health and one of Queensland’s busiest gynaecology services. The hospital serves a diverse community and is located in Coopers Plains, 12km from the Brisbane CBD. Purpose of the role This clinical role will allow for completion of the Essential O&G Skills Advanced Training Module, along with the Sexual and Reproductive Health Advanced Training Pathway (SRH-ATP) . On completion of the SRH-ATP the trainee will be equipped to provide comprehensive, high level Sexual & Reproductive Health services and leadership. They will have the organisational skills to transition from senior registrar to consultant position. The position is based at Logan Hospital Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department and may provide services and engage in clinical training at other Metro South facilities.
