Purpose of the role Redlands Hospital is a moderate sized obstetrics and gynaecology service birthing approximately 1700 women per year. We are a cohesive and compassionate team of doctors led by Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) alongside a large midwifery and nursing group. You will have the opportunity to work in both general obstetrics and gynaecology and complete your RANZCOG generalist pathway for your advanced training. You will have the opportunity to manage simple and some complex obstetric patients, common gynaecological conditions and gynaecological emergencies. You will have the opportunity to attend and participate in obstetric clinics, perinatal mortality and morbidity meetings, and other multidisciplinary meetings.
