The Townsville hospital is a tertiary referral hospital with around 2600 births per year, serving a large geographical area from the Torres Strait down to Mackay, and West to Mount Isa. We have a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine training unit and a 2-year AGES advanced laparoscopy fellowship.
