About the role

As an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will contribute to teaching, clinical training, research and community outreach. You will supervise students, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in curriculum development and quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Provide clinical services and promote excellence in patient care
• Engage in research and scholarly activities
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
• Mentor and support students and junior staff
• Participate in community and professional initiatives

Requirements

• MBBS and specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Registration with the Fiji Medical Council
• Teaching and/or research experience
• Strong commitment to student success, collaboration and community engagement
