We’re excited to welcome an Advanced Trainee Registrar to our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at Sunshine Coast Health!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to complete one year of advanced RANZCOG training in a position designed to develop consultant-level skills in general gynaecologic surgery, birth suite management, advanced obstetric procedures, and leadership.
You will undertake one or more RANZCOG Advanced Training Modules, with options including obstetrics, laparoscopy (available in the second year only), and urogynaecology or reproductive health.
As part of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, providing comprehensive care to patients while working within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team.
This role also offers the chance to further enhance your teaching skills through active involvement in the supervision and education of medical students, junior medical staff, and RANZCOG trainees.
Additionally, you will engage in clinical research and audit activities, with opportunities to lead and participate in quality improvement projects aimed at advancing practice and patient outcomes within the specialty.
