Staff Specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology

About the role

The role of the Senior Doctor is to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service. This includes research as well as teaching health professionals of the future.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values:

  • Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
  • Supervise and teach Junior Medical Staff and Medical Students attached to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department.
  • Participate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department clinical audits and clinical meetings.
  • Provide medical reports as requested.
  • Other duties as directed by the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
