All trainees are well supported by Consultant staff. The Department provides maternity care services for approximately 1,350 deliveries annually, through a mixture of Shared Care, Continuity Midwife teams and multidisciplinary High-Risk Clinics. The Maternity Unit is supported by a level four (≥32 weeks) special care nursery.
