Purpose of the role Redlands Hospital is a moderate sized general obstetrics and gynaecology service birthing approximately 1500 – 1600 women over 32 weeks’ gestation with a BMI less than 50 per year. We provide general gynaecology care to women who have a BMI less than 50. The Staff Specialist role will provide high-quality, evidence-based obstetric and gynaecological care across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, emergency and on-call services within Redland Hospital and Wynnum Primary Care Centre. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role will contribute to safe, patient-centred clinical service delivery that aligns with the hospital’s Clinical Services Capability Framework.
