Consultant Gynaecologist – Flexible Private Practice Opportunity

Broderick Medical is seeking a Consultant Gynaecologist to join our established specialist gynaecology and fertility practice in Canberra.

This is a flexible private practice opportunity for a FRANZCOG looking to establish or expand their private consulting work without the need to build a practice from the ground up.

Broderick Medical has a strong and growing referral base, with an established patient stream available from commencement. The practice provides consulting rooms, experienced administration, established systems and clinical support, allowing the successful specialist to focus primarily on patient care.

The opportunity

• Approximately 4–6 consulting days per month, with flexibility around days and frequency
• Consulting days can be grouped into blocks, making the position suitable for interstate specialists
• Opportunity to increase consulting days and expand your role over time as the practice continues to grow
• Established referral stream and patients available from commencement
• Predominantly office-based gynaecology
• No requirement to practise obstetrics
• Opportunity to develop a surgical component if desired
• Modern established private practice with administrative and clinical support
• Flexible arrangement suitable for an established specialist seeking additional private work or a recently fellowed FRANZCOG looking to develop a private practice

Broderick Medical is a specialist women’s health and fertility practice led by Dr Sarah Broderick. Our multidisciplinary model incorporates specialist gynaecology, fertility, women’s health GPs and dedicated pelvic ultrasound services.

Remuneration

This is a percentage-based private practice arrangement offering attractive earning potential, supported by an established referral stream and patients available from commencement. Broderick Medical provides the consulting rooms, administration, systems and practice infrastructure.

Requirements

• FRANZCOG
• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
