Mandatory Requirements

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a FRANZCOG
  • Current recency in obstetrics and gynaecology clinical practice
  • Entitlement to work within Australia
  • A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date
  • Provision of valid Working with Children Check
  • Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
  • Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a 20-minute timeframe.
  • Annual Fetal Surveillance Education (FSEP): Level 3 full course
  • Annual Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation (ANR)
  • Annual Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT) 
  • Alignment with Bayside health values
  • Superior interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and communication skills

Desirable

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Experience in Clinical and Quality related research activities.
  • Experience in teaching and post graduate education
  • Demonstrated organisational ability
