About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Subspecialist, or Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a special interest in MFM, to join the dynamic multi-disciplinary team at EH. 

The successful candidate will provide high-risk care in complex pregnancies, in collaboration with our Fetal Diagnostic Service and Obstetric Medicine services.

Working primarily at BHH MFM clinics, there will also be an on-call commitment. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Current registration with AHPRA 
• Hold fellowship with RANZCOG
• Hold a subspecialist qualification in Maternal Fetal Medicine as recognized by RANZCOG or have experience working in an MFM unit in Australia for at least 6 months in the past 2-3 years.
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
