WHO ARE WE?

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network spans a diverse region — from the Barossa Valley in the north, through the Adelaide Hills, and south to the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island — encircling metropolitan Adelaide and servicing some of South Australia’s fastest-growing regional communities.

This position is based in Victor Harbor, a key regional centre on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

BHFLHN is experiencing sustained growth, driven by rapid population expansion and significant capital investment, and underpinned by an exceptional organisational culture.

The $320 million development of the new Mount Barker Hospital represents a transformational infrastructure investment, which will triple inpatient bed capacity and expand the scope and complexity of surgical services. This is complemented by targeted workforce investment, including for contemporary, multidisciplinary allied health models of care to enhance peri-operative optimisation and recovery. In parallel, the Network is implementing integrated post-operative pathways that combine hospital-based services with community and in-home virtual care.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to all our consumers, residents, their families, and community.  We do this by always maintaining exceptional levels of care supported by systems and processes that assure us of quality and safety of our staff and those we serve.

  • A qualified Gynaecologist to deliver specialist services
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
