About the role:
The Women’s & Children’s Division of Western Health invites applications from specialist obstetricians and gynaecologists to either sessional or full-time positions.
Positions with limited (12-month) tenure and substantive ongoing appointments are both available.
Sessional and fulltime roles are available for immediate start.
Applications are welcome from recent FRANZCOG graduates through to experienced Fellows at later career stages seeking a transition to a large tertiary service with exceptional collegiate support.
The Western Health Women’s & Children’s Division prides itself on providing excellent care in a genuinely collaborative environment, working as teams with midwifery and nursing professionals, newborn and MFM colleagues, gynae oncology, urogynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgeons as well as allied health and operational staff.

A range of clinical roles are available for suitable applicants for work in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
