Nepean Hospital department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a level 6 tertiary referral maternity unit overseeing >4000 deliveries a year, providing Maternal Fetal Medicine services to Outer Western Sydney and Central West NSW and delivering a broad range of services in conjunction with the University of Sydney academic unit.

The department has 13 ITP Trainees with Advanced training (fellow) positions in Urogynaecology, Laparoscopic Surgery, Feto-Maternal Medicine and Ultrasound. There is a broad range of operative Gynaecological experience available in the public hospital and in partnership with local VMOs who operate at additional sites.
