Peninsula Health is a the major metropolitan health service caring for a community of 300,000 people. Our Vision is to provide exceptional health and community care. To realise this vision we need people who strive for a sense of achievement, take an interest in their individual growth, enjoy innovation and looking for ways to improve and have a passion for communicating and connecting with others.
Around 3000 women give birth at Peninsula Health every year. We care for a socioeconomically diverse range of high and low risk pregnant women. Women at high risk are cared through the Complex Pregnancy Clinic and the Fetal Diagnostic Service. In addition, we provide acute and perioperative gynaecological services including general gynaecology, advanced laparoscopy, oncology and urogynaecological procedures. Ambulatory care is provided through outpatient hysteroscopy, colposcopy, urogynaecology and sexual health clinics.
Peninsula Health is a primary training site for Core and Advanced RANZCOG trainees.
