Mildura Base Hospital has 171 beds, and is a tertiary teaching hospital (Level 1) providing public hospital services to the community of Mildura and the Sunraysia District. The hospital is presently managed by Ramsay Health Care and on 15 September 2020, the hospital will transition to Victorian state government-based organisation, Mildura Base Public Hospital. We promote and provide a work environment that embraces professional development and supports staff to maximize growth through internal and external education opportunities.

 Mildura is a busy regional centre that services a population of 80,000 and our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department receives an interesting and diverse case mix, catering for in excess 900 - 1000 births per annum. The service area extends across the North West region of Victoria, to the border of South Australia and part of New South Wales.
