2024 O&G Registrar Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Unaccredited Registrar to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit for the 2024 medical year. The Thomson (Maternity) Unit is a state-of-the-art obstetric facility that offers mothers and their children tailored, safe and caring treatment in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. Thomson has 18 standard beds and a six bed High Level 2 Special Care Nursery that is fully equipped to care for babies with special needs. The Unit is staffed by a specialist team of midwives, obstetricians, mothercraft nurses, lactation consultants, division two nurses and paediatricians who work together to provide patients with the highest quality of care.
