2026 Senior Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar (Accredited) Fixed Term - Full Time; for 2026 Clinical Year  86 Hours per fortnight   About The Role Grampians Health- Ballarat are currently seeking applications for an Accredited Registrar within the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department for the 2026 Clinical Year. The role is suited to senior O and G applicants (level 5 or 6 RANZCOG trainee). The O&G department sees approximately 1500 deliveries each year and has 2 caesarean and 6 gynaecology theatre sessions each week. The role will involve primary operating under supervision with a general gynaecology and obstetrics focus. Previous registrars in this role have gained competence in vaginal repair, vaginal hysterectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy and abdominal hysterectomy, as well as in general more minor gynaecology operations if needed for skill development. New short stay unit and modern, emergency, critical care, ambulatory, aged care and rehabilitation facilities uniquely integrate in-patient, ambulatory, community and home-based services.
