Senior Registrar - Obstetrics & Gynaecology
We are seeking talented and enthusiastic professional looking to complete their speciality training working in a senior role, while supporting Registrars and Resident Medical Officers. This position will be best suited to a level 5 or 6 trainee. This accredited senior registrar position will offer excellent experience in tertiary level antenatal and intrapartum care including ultrasound and labour ward management. The training in general gynaecology unit will allow the successful applicant to consolidate their surgical skills including laparoscopic surgery, prior to entering specialist practice.  This is an exceptional and unique opportunity that will enable the successful applicant to gain all the skills they will require to enter specialist practice on completion of this appointment. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Central Adelaide Local Health Network) have a vacancy for an advanced RANZCOG trainee in gynaecology. The role comprises 45 hours of operating per month, primarily laparoscopic surgery but also experience in urogynaecology and colposcopy. Obstetrics is not included in this position. The position is accredited for RANZCOG ATP training. While this is a full-time position, applications for part-time employment may be considered. Trainees in years 1-4 could be considered if suitably experienced.
