Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Unaccredited Registrar to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit for the 2024 medical year.
The Thomson (Maternity) Unit is a state-of-the-art obstetric facility that offers mothers and their children tailored, safe and caring treatment in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. Thomson has 18 standard beds and a six bed High Level 2 Special Care Nursery that is fully equipped to care for babies with special needs.
The Unit is staffed by a specialist team of midwives, obstetricians, mothercraft nurses, lactation consultants, division two nurses and paediatricians who work together to provide patients with the highest quality of care.
The position offers opportunities to work in the delivery suite on the gynaecology ward and outpatient clinics under the supervision of O&G specialists.
