2024 Senior Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars - Matched positions via Victorian RANZCOG SR Match 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

  • All applicants for these positions must also register for the Victorian Senior Registrar match via RANZCOG
  • Based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg
  • Registrars provide care for inpatients and outpatients at Mercy Hospital for Women as per position description
  • Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement

AVAILABLE POSITIONS INCLUDE:

  • Obstetric and Gynaecology Senior Registrar. 3x FTE position. 12 month position commencing Feb 2024. Level 5 or 6 RANZCOG trainee.
  • Opportunities for development of both Clinical & Leadership skills within a supportive team
    • Suitable for FRANZCOG Elective Advanced Training Modules
      • Generalist Obstetrics
      • Generalist Gynaecology
      • Essential O&G Skills
      • Other ATMs may be undertaken as per individual agreement
  • Gynaecology Senior Registrar (Oncology/Dysplasia). 1x 0.8 FTE. 12 month position commencing Feb 2024. Level 5 or 6 RANZCOG trainee. Ability to be accredited for 1EFT for RANZCOG elective training
    • Suitable for FRANZCOG Elective Advanced Training Modules:
      • Colposcopy
      • Essential O&G Skills
  • Gynaecology Senior Registrar (Urogynaecology). 1x 0.8 FTE position. 12 month position commencing Feb 2024. Level 5 or 6 RANZCOG trainee. Ability to be accredited to 1 EFT for RANZCOG elective training
    • Suitable for FRANZCOG Elective Advanced Training Modules:
      • Pelvic Floor Disorders
      • Generalist Gynaecology
      • Essential O&G Skills 

 ABOUT YOU:

  • Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • FRANZCOG elective (or equivalent) trainee
  • Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
