What you can accomplish in the Role
Joining a dynamic team of professionals, you will increase capacity of the delivery of Obstetrics and Gynaecology components of clinical rotations of the MBBS program at the Townsville Clinical School.
With a focus on the challenges facing health professionals working in tropical, rural and remote environments, you will have the opportunity to take a lead role to develop and conduct innovative teaching and research activities in obstetrics and gynaecology.
What you will bring to the Role
As an enthusiastic and qualified medical practitioner, or academic, you will be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia. You will have substantial clinical experience in Obstetric and Gynaecological practice and an understanding of the issues relevant to the provision of academic and clinical services in rural and remote areas. Your ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary academics, health care professionals, community and professional bodies will see you succeed in this key role educating the doctors of the future.
