The opportunity

We are seeking a Generalist Obstetrician/Gynaecologist to join a busy privately billing and ultrasound accredited practice located at the Lenah Valley Calvary Hospital in the capital city of Tasmania - Hobart!

This established practice has been part of the community for over 30 years and has built wonderful relationships with the local community and local service providers. Hobart OBGYN has a large referral base from the community.

With 500 plus births per year we would like to welcome a Generalist Consultant to the practice. The practice offers competitive rates as an independent contractor and can be discussed upon application. 

About The Practice & The Team

You will work alongside 4 Generalists with a broad range of experience and have the support of 2 midwives daily which means you are never without nursing support. Nurses will provide support in immunisations, antenatal checks and assist with in-house procedures like CVS, amniocentesis, colposcopy, etc.

The friendly administration team are there to help with a dynamic scope of experience to assist where they can. Additionally, the practice offers a multidisciplinary team with an onsite Endocrinologist, Psychologists, Dietitian, and pelvic floor Physiotherapists.
