This is an excellent opportunity for registrars with an interest in rural generalist O&G practice.
The position is RANZCOG accredited and comprises at least 3 gynaecology theatre lists per week as primary operator, labour ward experience locally and one day/fortnight at Monash Clayton. The position also includes gynaecology clinics, following through your own patients; colposcopy and outpatient laser, as well as theatre lists with visiting sub-specialists in urogynaecology and gynae-oncology.
This is not a service position. It is a training position with committed Consultant mentors looking to assist registrars to develop true generalist skills, with a view to an ongoing consultant position in Gippsland.
To maximise training opportunities the successful applicant would need to be committed to a full 12 month position, and live in the area during this time. Please forward your application to Dr Warrick Pill (O&G Consultant, Clinical Lead).
