An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (VMO) to join the team at Northern Health.
This role is to support the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Units in the provision of high-quality medical services at Northern Health, consistent with Northern Health values (safe, kind and together). Opportunities exist for future role development. The role is based at various Northern Health campuses, staff may be required to travel and work across the various Northern Health campuses, programs, and partner organisations. The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (VMO) will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members including allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff to deliver high quality Obstetric and Gynaecological services as well as driving related research and innovation.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute and specialist services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Care is provided to our culturally rich and diverse community across our campuses at Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Craigieburn Centre and Bundoora Centre. The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is staffed by a team of 15 Consultants and locally trained RANZCOG trainee registrars.

Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
