The Women’s and Children’s Hospital employs Obstetrics Advanced Trainees within the Women’s and Babies Division, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The Obstetrics Advanced Trainee contributes to the provision of clinical services under consultant supervision to WCHN inpatients and outpatients predominately with a Maternal-Fetal Medicine focus. Incumbents must be accepted into the RANZCOG CMFM Subspeciality training program.
The Advanced Trainee will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 6 or 12 month allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
