About the Role

As a Senior Registrar (SR) you will be providing outstanding care to our women with the close support of our consultants. In doing so, you will be consolidating your clinical skills towards successfully completing your FRANZCOG training, in particular complex pregnancy care, tertiary birth suite management, ultrasound and general gynaecology. Our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Senior Registrars positions can be tailored to suit the individual needs of each successful appointee, with the added flexibility in the daily roster to meet the clinical requirements and maximise each SRs training goals, as the year progresses. Rotations may involve travelling between Monash Women’s sites or our partnering hospitals in regional and/or private settings.

All of our positions are geared to the true generalist Obstetrics and Gynaecology advanced trainee, focusing on becoming independent in complex obstetrics care and general gynaecological procedures.

Five of these  our positions could  be altered to be  geared to those with subspecialty interest, including tertiary obstetrics, specialist endogynaecology, tertiary gynaecology and gynae-oncology.

We are passionate about furthering your professional portfolio through your contribution to teaching, mentoring, and clinical governance. You will be working closely with consultants providing you with the opportunity for structured feedback and career guidance.
