About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to provide high quality and cost effective services to the community. The position is predominately clinically focused, along with the clinically related management and support functions associated with the position. These management/support functions are in support of the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and are focused on quality and risk management activities, professional development and training and supervisor of junior medical staff.
This is a full time temporary position until 31 July 2021 with the option to extend if mutually agreed.
What you bring
The successful applicant will have a medical degree fully registrable with AHPRA, the qualification of FRANZCOG or other equivalent specialist qualification. You will have a broad experience in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to enable confident clinical practice in a regional area and a commitment to quality improvement activities related to the practice. Effective communication, conflict management and team building skills along with experience in training junior medical staff is also essential.
