We are pleased to be able to offer a 12-month Advanced Training position commencing February 2021. This position covers a variety of clinical areas within Obstetrics and Gynaecology, offering an advanced training experience with opportunities for developing leadership, refining advanced gynaecological surgical skills in Brisbane’s busiest general gynaecology unit, participating in tertiary-level antenatal and intrapartum care and working in the Flying O&G (FOG) service. The latter comprises week-long gynaecology-focused rotations to rural and regional Queensland.
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Level 5/6 Registrar who is looking to build upon their skills in gynaecology and tertiary obstetrics. Mater Mothers’ Hospital has a dynamic education, audit and research program and the successful applicant will be expected to be actively involved in these activities.
Through this role the successful candidate will be in a position to complete the following ATM’s whilst at Mater: Essential O&G Skills, Generalist Obstetrics and Generalist Gynaecology. Trainees who have completed their core training requirements are encouraged to apply.
