Melbourne IVF Fellowship position –
Commencing February 2026 in Certificate of Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) at Melbourne IVF, Collingwood, Templestowe & Caulfield
We are delighted to announce one full time RANZCOG CREI accredited position for 12 months (pending final board confirmation). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated trainee to learn from leading fertility specialists, to gain excellence in the field of reproduction.
There is broad scope in our busy private gynaecology setting, with significant exposure including management of:
· Sub-specialist fertility assessment and management
· Male and Female physiology, including endometriosis, PCOS, unexplained infertility
· All assisted reproductive technology (ART)
· Cycle tracking, ovulation induction, intra uterine insemination, IVF, ICSI
· Laboratory – exposure to cryopreservation,
· Andrology and andrology laboratory lab, advanced sperm selection techniques
· Genetics – including PGT (pre-implantation testing of embryos)
· Fertility preservation for oncology/complex medical conditions
· Third party reproduction including donor and surrogate
· Acute gynaecology, complications of early pregnancy
· Gynaecology surgery
· Multiple unit meetings, including quality and assurance
Additionally, strong support for CREI exam preparation (both written and oral exams) and conference leave, with emphasis on Trainee involvement in monthly teaching for medical, scientific and nursing education, as well as research and publications.
This fertility fellowship position for 2026 is well mapped to the CREI curriculum. In addition to all clinical training, emphasis is also on the whole of trainee development, including leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
