Our Gynaecological Oncology Unit has a Fellow/Registrar position available for 2026. The position is full-time for 12 months. The role would also suit a FRANZCOG aiming to gain more exposure to gynaeoncological oncology or complex surgery. The successful applicant will be involved and supervise the inpatient and outpatient management of patients with complex benign and gynaecologic malignancies.
We offer a broad and comprehensive array of exposure to gynaecological oncology including laparoscopic surgery, traditional open surgery and advanced cytoreductive surgery (Peritonectomy).
The position is full time with an expectation for on-call and re-call
· Advanced Clinical skills in Gynaecology Oncology
· Interpersonal skills which allow effective communication, consultation and negotiation across the
· disciplines.
· Ability to develop, implement and evaluate initiatives to ensure cost effective delivery and high quality care to patients
· Knowledge and application of contemporary Human Resource Management issues at both the broad and specific level, including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and antidiscrimination.
· Development and implementation of quality improvement programs

The Gold Coast Health and Hospital Service encompasses Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital and Health Precinct, Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Southport Health Precinct.
Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) is a busy tertiary unit with over 5000 obstetric deliveries annually. Training at our institution allows exposure to general obstetrics and gynaecology, advanced laparoscopy and subspecialties including gynaecology oncology, urogynaecology and maternal fetal medicine.
