Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic senior registrar seeking advanced exposure both fertility and gynaecology? We are offering a unique, part-time (0.6 FTE) Unaccredited Fertility Fellow position, working in a high-volume private fertility & gynaecology clinic.

There is the possibility of creating a full time (1.0 FTE) position combining a 0.4 FTE within the co-located public hospital obstetric & gynaecology unit. This separate position will need to be applied for independently.  

Job Description

  • Assist in private fertility and gynaecological operations, including advanced laparoscopic surgery with Level 5-6 accredited gynaecological surgeons
  • Participate in patient consultations and treatment planning.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to embryology and andrology laboratories.
  • Involvement in fertility cycle management including ovulation induction, IVF/ICSI cycles, IUI, and egg freezing.
  • Attend regular educational sessions and case discussions.

Candidate Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • General AHPRA registration.
  • Year 5 or 6 RANZCOG trainee (preference given to final year trainees)
  • Previous experience in fertility, gynaecology or reproductive medicine will be highly regarded.
  • Masters of Reproductive Medicine enrolment or completion desired
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
