The successful candidate should have the ability to perform minor and urgent surgeries independently and you will also run clinics each week. You may have a special interest in one or more of: high risk pregnancy/ diabetes in pregnancy, colposcopy, laparoscopic surgery, and management of pelvic pain or urogynecology – however we welcome applications from generalists in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Part of the role will include participation in the acute on-call gynaecology & obstetric rosters.
You are registered (or registerable) with the New Zealand Medical Council and if you are from overseas or outside Auckland, our candidate care team will help with the logistics of immigration and relocation, to make your move as smooth as possible. You may already be a Fellow of RANZCOG or be advanced trainee nearing completion of your training.
