Position Overview:
Salary range of $139,932 – $214,046 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary, 11.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance). Benefits include:
- Paid overtime and high overnight penalties
- Eligibility for additional rural remote training points (band 1)
- Annual leave availability
Key Responsibilities:
Provides a mix of Gynae Oncology and General Surgery, including:
- Assisting and operating in gynaecology, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and gynae oncology surgery
- Participation in the state peritonectomy service
- Teaching and research opportunities
By year-end, registrars will gain competence in acute surgical patient management, laparoscopic procedures, and managing gynaecological cancers. This is a non accredited training position.
Criteria:
- RANZCOG ITP Year 3 or above
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
